About the owners
Charisse Braxton, RN, NP-C, MBA, MHA
Co-Founder & Owner
Growing up, weekends with my grandparents were sacred. I cherished their stories, wisdom, and the love they poured into me. This personal care home is dedicated to their memory and to all elders who have helped shape the values I carry as a healthcare professional and caregiver.
With over 30 years of experience as a Certified Nurse Practitioner and 18 years in healthcare executive leadership, I have overseen clinical operations, supervised dedicated teams, and managed complex healthcare budgets across Metro Atlanta. I earned my BS in Nursing from the State University of New York at Downstate and went on to receive my MBA, MHA, and MS from Georgia State University.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to offer a respectful, dignified, and joyful living environment for seniors. With heartfelt care, I am honored to support your loved one with the compassion and professionalism they deserve.
Davita Gathers, RN, BSN
Co-Founder & Owner
I am a proud professional nurse of 20 years. Not only is nursing my profession, it is truly my calling. Throughout my career, I have been privileged to serve in a wide range of healthcare environments across Metro Atlanta, from critical care and emergency services to primary and long-term care. I am certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS), and I have extensive experience in health services management, including the oversight of large, diverse teams of nurses and care staff.
In addition to my clinical expertise, I’ve had the honor of caring for my own family members. That personal experience has deepened my understanding of what it means to entrust someone else with the well-being of a loved one. It’s a responsibility I never take lightly.
As the Owner and Founder of this personal care home, my mission is to create a place where residents feel genuinely cared for, safe, and respected, and where families can rest assured that their loved ones are in capable and compassionate hands. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Howard University, and I bring not only clinical knowledge but also heartfelt commitment to every aspect of this home.
